The WatchBP Home A is an automatic blood pressure device that features Atrial Fibrillation (AF) detection. According to NICE, “WatchBP Home A should be used for hypertension monitoring in primary care” as it is officially recommended in latest guidance (MTG13) http://www.nice.org.uk/MTG13.
The Home A is primarily designed for patients suspected of hypertension to perform a self-measurement program over 7 days following ESH / AHA / BHS guidelines. The device has built-in memory where results are downloaded to a PC running the free user-friendly WatchBP Analyzer Software.
The device can also be used as an on-the-spot automatic BP monitor, taking a 3-reading average for accurate BP measurement.
