EasyOne Connect & SystmOne Update

IMPORTANT UPDATE FOR EASYONE CONNECT USERS WITH TPP SYSTMONE INTEGRATION

Tpp have recently announced that as of 1st July 2020 all external medical device PC software connected to SystmOne will need to be updated. Tpp have changed the way that external software communicates with SystmOne and therefore updated software will need to be installed onto the computer to allow Easy on-PC to continue to communicate with SystmOne.

The main Easy on-PC computer software will need to be updated to the latest version and then the latest SystmOne EMR will need to be installed within the EasyOne Connect PC software.

SETUP INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Launch EasyOne Connect as admin.  Go to Utilities >> Configuration >> EMR, and select Install New.
  2. Install the new SystmOne plugin using the provided zemr file
  3. Select SystmOne V 2.0.1.XXXX from the selected EMR Dropdown
  4. Unlock the configuration.
     
  5. Enter the following for configuration info on the Connection Tab:
    1. TCP Port: 40700
    2. Host: [Hostname of where SystmOne is running. In my tests this was just localhost]
    3. API Key: ffc0e82e2300258c
    4. Device ID should be empty to start. This will be filled in as part of the setup process.
       
  6. Fill out the information on the Advanced Tab so it looks something like this:
    1. Note that “Pseudonumber” above is what type of ID the test patients like "Joe Bloggs" have in the demo environment. In the real world, this will likely need to be changed to NhsNumber or a different header.
       
  7. On the Connection Tab, click “Check”. Confirm that it connects successfully before proceeding.
  8. Click “Get Device ID”. Confirm that it successfully retrieves a device ID and this device ID is added to the text box for Device ID (will show as “*”s).
